Join the workshop, "From Numbers to Narrative" which takes place on 20 March 2024 at 13:00h CEST/ 8:00h EST


Aim: To empower participants with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively communicate complex data insights through compelling stories, making their data presentations more engaging and impactful.


Overview of curriculum:


By the end of the webinar you will be able to:

  • Describe the importance of storytelling in data interpretation and communication

  • Explain how to structure stories with data

  • Identify key elements that make a data story compelling and memorable.

  • Utilize storytelling techniques to turn data into insightful narratives.

Target Audience: Anyone who regularly works with data and looks to influence business decisions

Essentially, any professional who extract insights from data, but need better skills to effectively present those insights and compel action across their organizations. You may already know how to analyze data and visualize basic charts. However, you wish to learn how to convey compelling stories and narratives that will stick with executive audiences and/or policy makers to drive change.


Whether you're involved in civil society, government agencies, academia, or private sector or advocacy initiatives, this workshop offers crucial insights and practical skills to enhance your data story-telling skills. You don't need formal training as a M&E practitioner or in data analysis to be part of this workshop


Duration: 90 minutes


Recording: As persons are in different time zones, the time of the workshop may not be convenient for everyone. Therefore, the workshop will be recorded and available in the M&E Academy section of this website for persons to (re) watch at their convenience. By attending the workshop you give your consent for the recording.


Delivery: The workshop is via Zoom and will be participatory.
