Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop



Aim: This webinar will explore fun and engaging approaches for successful M&E training. It responds to the demand for M&E professionals not only to conduct M&E, but equip others to understand and support it.

Drawing from adult learning principles, the webinar will showcase a variety of active learning activities to deliver M&E training in an enjoyable and meaningful way.


Although the webinar focuses on M&E, you can adapt the principles to apply any sector or industry. Once you are a trainer, coach, HR practitioner or involved in a process where you wish to impart knowledge in a fun way to a group, this webinar is for you!

By the end of the webinar, you will have learned:

  • The importance of adult learning principles to ground successful M&E training learning events activities.

  • A range of engaging active learning activities to make M&E training sessions more enjoyable and effective.

  • How to transform M&E training into vibrant and memorable learning experiences that enhance participants' ability to conduct and support M&E that make a difference.

Presenter: Scott G. Chaplowe, is a M&E seasoned M&E professional, trainer, and trainer-of-trainers, and the lead author of the well-reviewed book, 'Monitoring and Evaluation Training: A Systematic Approach'


Duration: 90 minutes


Recording: As persons are in different time zones, the time of the workshop may not be convenient for everyone. Therefore, the workshop will be recorded and available in the M&E Academy section of this website for persons to (re) watch at their convenience. By attending the workshop you give your consent for the recording.


Delivery: The workshop is via Zoom and will be participatory.
